In what feels like a pretty monumental stage in our journey at Jennings, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re now a certified B Corp™ (B Corporation)

A B-what you ask?  B Corp™ is all about a community of businesses that meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The B Corp process is rigorous and hard-earned, highlighted by Chris Williams, Jennings Eco Champion, who said “You can’t dress it up in hot-pants, it’s bloody hard work!“.

Every business that achieves certification does so on the back of strengths that are unique to their business. For us, it’s all about people.

People Power
For us, it’s always been so much more than just running a business park. Since the 1980s we’ve been creating a home for business and that’s meant putting people at the heart of our decision making. And we believe it’s this approach that’s led us to reaching B Corp™ status.

Today, around 35 of the businesses who’ve made a home with us have been here for 10 years or more, and many of those have been with us for over 20 years. That tells us we’re doing something right.

But it also says a lot about the people in the Jennings community. From those who run their businesses here at Monument Park, to all our suppliers, and everyone employed around the business parks too – we’re all part of a supportive family of individuals committed to doing the right thing by each other.

One supplier said “You bring people together, you support them as they grow, and you show gratitude and appreciation generously. Oh, and you are pretty good at commercial property matters too!”

Becoming a B Corp™ business is a key milestone in our journey of building a responsible, values-led, authentic business that thinks beyond profit. At the heart of it is the commitment we all have to each other. Which is why we want to use our B Corp™ announcement to thank YOU wonderful people!
