A Breakfast with… Annabelle Padwick
Annabelle Padwick will be our guest speaker on 21st May. She is the founder of Life at No.27, an Oxfordshire based social enterprise providing gardening and wellbeing therapy for children and adults struggling with low confidence, isolation or mental ill health.
She is a professional gardener, wellbeing therapist, gardening writer, author, public speaker and potato growing addict. Her therapeutic and educational programmes for children and adults, are proven to build confidence, teach new skills, help make new friends and ultimately, have fun.
Annabelle will talk about her journey of mental health recovery, leaving behind a 10 year career in the corporate world, moving on to a narrowboat and creating a successful organisation that makes a giant impact, providing the therapy option she never had. She will discuss the challenges, successes, lessons learnt and future dreams of both mental health recovery and becoming a passionate business director.
Apart from this being of interest to business owners and entrepreneurs because of her business acumen, this fits in very nicely in with it being Mental Health Awareness week!
