‘A Breakfast With…’  the wonderful Joy Foster of TechPixies! 

Joy will tell the story of how she found her own sparkle through helping other women find theirs. A passionate entrepreneur for over 10 years, Joy has recently been crowned Enterprise Nation’s Female Startup of the Year, and the IoD Startup Director of the Year for London and the South.

Not only that, she’s been shortlisted for the Women in Business Startup of the Year and IoD Nationwide Startup Director of the Year.  

While building her web development agency, Made with Joy, she received funding to launch a pilot project called TechPixies.  This project has now taken over Joy’s life and has become her most successful business to date!

About Joy:

The sudden loss of her father changed the course of her life forever. Quitting a well paid job, she left work at 21 to train full time for the Olympics in Archery. After 4 years on the US National Archery Team but 2 unsuccessful bids for the Olympic team, Joy found herself engaged and moving from California to Switzerland overnight. Her tale of entrepreneurship started nearly 10 years ago as she embraced her new life as a ‘trailing spouse’, building her first company while being a full time mum. Moving again in 2014, this time to Oxford, Joy passed the reigns of her first business to new ownership and started from scratch all over again building her second business, Made with Joy, a web development agency.
