We’ve got lots going on this festive season on Monument Park. Chalgrove Primary School choir will be visiting the Park to sing a few Christmas carols. We would love it if you could join us at 11am on Monday 12th December around Hampden House pond. We’ll also have a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie for everyone. The children always enjoy performing to an audience so make an excuse to pop out – you’ll be singing along in no time!
We are also celebrating Christmas Jumper Day this year to help get everyone in the festive spirit and raise some money for charity at the same time. So on Friday 16th December, all you need to do is come to work in your best Christmas Jumper, come down to reception on the day (or send us a picture if you can’t make it in) and make a minimum donation of £1 – you could win a bottle of bubbly! We will choose a winner by 2pm.
If you’re passing Hampden House reception, you’ll see three lovely Christmas Hampers to raise money for Monument Community Trust and Sobell House. Tickets are just 50p each or £2 per strip and we will be drawing the winners in reception on the Friday 16th at 2pm. We will be coming round to collect the Christmas Jumper donations on that Friday so you can also purchase some last minute raffle tickets.
We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated so that we could make these hampers a reality, and a special thank you to Carolyn and Jonathan for donating an incredible Chocolate Santa (which you could win in the raffle!) and tasty Fudge which we’ve bagged up for anyone to buy, maybe as a gift, or maybe just to treat yourself!
